Yinon Cohen’s research focuses on inequality, labor markets, and immigration.  He received his B.A. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and his M,A and Ph.D. from SUNY at Stony Brook.  Recent publications include “Patterns of Self-Selection and Earning Assimilation among Immigrants from the Former Soviet Union in Israel and the US,” Demography (2007); 44: 649-668; "Next year in Jerusalem … or in Cologne?"
