Renting Kent Hall Suite 617

The Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies in Suite 617 Kent Hall is home to a beautiful, newly-renovated conference room, which is ideal for meetings, seminars, lectures, and other events. The conference room can seat between 35-40 people (22 people around the conference table).  Facilities include high-end technology and audio visual resources. The space is outfitted with a projector and screen, a large flat-screen TV with video conferencing, microphone, and podium. After work hours, the conference room door can open into the main area and can be arranged for theater-style seating. Alternatively, 617 can be used as a reception area for food and drinks. 

Rental fees are: $300 for half-day (up to 4 hours), $600 for full-day (up to 8 hours). Facilities fees are extra, should there be a need for additional cleaning after your event.

Before the reservation is confirmed, you will be asked to provide a chart string for the rental fee and a chart string for any extra facilities charges if additional clean-up is necessary following your event. We request that you leave the space tidy at the end of your event. The contact person reserving the room will be responsible for members of the group and the department or organization reserving the room will be responsible for any damage done to the space. Any outside catering for events is subject to review/approval by IIJS staff; please note that IIJS does not assume responsibility for kashrut for non-IIJS events.

All requests are subject to availability based on IIJS programming and classes. Please note that requests are not confirmed simply by submitting a request; reservations must be approved/confirmed by IIJS staff.
