Yitzhak Lewis received his B.A. (2007) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Comparative Literature, Psychology and Creative Writing and his M.A. (2010) and Ph.D. (2016) from Columbia University in Hebrew and Comparative Literature. His interests include transnational Jewish writing and comparative literature; literary theory; literature and religion; Hasidic literature; Borges studies; and modern Jewish literatures, specifically the relation between modern and Jewish within the field of literature. He lives in New York with his family.
