Danielle Katz Shenhar

Danielle Katz Shenhar is a lecturer in the MESAAS department. She specializes in language acquisition and teaching modern Hebrew as a second language. She is working towards a doctorate in Modern Languages at Middlebury College. Current areas of research include language acquisition, modern Hebrew poetry and literature, Jewish culture and Jewish tales in the class of modern Hebrew as second language. Previous research focused on Zionist ideology and Jewish tales. Prior to her position at Columbia University she taught Modern Hebrew at Emory University.
