Stuart Weinstock is a film programmer, Film Studies professor, and a filmmaker. He earned his BA in Film Studies and Psychology from Columbia College, and his MFA in Directing from Columbia's School of the Arts. His short films have screened and won awards at film festivals in the US and abroad. Stuart has taught Film courses at Ramapo College of New Jersey, Mercy College, and the New York Film Academy. His courses for Columbia include Topics in Israeli Cinema and Auteur Study: Steven Spielberg, and he has been the Film Programmer for Columbia IIJS since 2012. Stuart is the Director of Film Programming at JCC MetroWest, where he runs the Malvin & Greta Roesch New Jersey Jewish Film Festival.
